SYLLABUS

Course Description:

The Reading Skills Class utilizes the Success For All Reading Edge Program. It is designed to prepare students for the rigorous demands of high school content-area reading and writing and to teach students to clearly express and support their ideas with logical and relevant details. Students participate in cooperative learning that involves setting individual and team goals that will help them to achieve literacy success. Students are grouped according to their current reading levels and assessed at the end of each grading period using the 4-Sight Reading Test.
